What happens on your plots between one flight and the next
Free satellite imagery (Sentinel-2, Sentinel-1 and Landsat) clipped to each of your plots on every pass: vigor series, frost, water stress, nearby fires and land-use change. Counting is still done by drone.
What you get
- NDVI and NDRE series per plot, with the zone median as reference to tell season from problem
- Detection of step drops (harvest, replanting, clearing) and of sustained vigor decline
- Frost risk and detection per plot (topography, night-time land surface temperature and a seven-day forecast)
- Water stress, fire hotspots within two kilometers and land-use change around the plot
What we need from you
- Your plot polygons (the same ones as the inventory)
- Nothing else: the imagery is public and the system downloads and clips it on its own
How we work
Plot registration
With the polygons loaded, the historical archive is built backwards from the available scenes.
Daily sync
Every new scene is clipped to every plot, metrics are computed and compared against the zone and against the plot's own history.
Alerts and dashboard
Events appear on the plot panel with their evidence, and alerts arrive by notification or webhook.
Where it is switched on today Currently switched on in the agave instance. For citrus, avocado and other crops it is enabled on request: the engine is the same, and what gets adjusted are the per-crop thresholds.
Frequently asked questions
Can you count my plants from satellite?
No, and we don't promise it. At 10 meters per pixel the satellite sees the plot, not the plant. Counting is done by drone; satellite provides continuous context between flights.
How often does an image arrive?
Sentinel-2 passes every five days and Landsat every eight; clouds leave gaps, which is why Sentinel-1 radar steps in as backup when optical cannot see.
Does it work outside Mexico?
Yes: the constellations cover the whole world. What is calibrated per region are the frost and stress thresholds.
